Ubuntu 10.10 just upgraded now wont boot?

So im trying to fix this problem im having connect my computer with 10.10 to my Fios wireless. and i read somewhere online that the drivers might just be old. o.k. cool so ill just update and upgrade. i established a wired connection to the router and let it start updating and upgrading to the new ubuntu...i think its natty narwhal but idk. So i come back and now it wont boot. something about not being able to mount (lol) it gives me the option to skip so i do and it says it cant find "Plymouth" ...isnt that a city? so yup im confused. any help?
