My brand new car was totaled. I feel devastated. Should i buy or just lease a new car?

My brand new car was totaled. It was my dad hu drove it but thank God he dint get hurt. But of course i feel devastated with what happened to my brand new 2007 honda civic, in addition, that was my first car. The front was completely damaged and all the airbags, including the penger's seat deployed. Should I just lease a new car or it's still better to buy a new one?
