Now that the rich have us off our farms and out of our self sustaining villages -?

The rich are the most dependent members of a society...they depend on us to maintain their lifestyle. We are not forced to do anything, certainly not by the majority. People today are plagued with the "what is, must then be" mentality. Take a look at your neighborhood. You will most likely see houses far to large for the number of occupants living there (years paying a mortgage is what makes a slave) A large green lawn, and exotic landscaping plants (costs in fertilizer, water, and weed killer...and give no return.) That space could be used instead to grow food, native plants that do not require extra water or care, providing free sustenance for the family. A few chickens make great pets and can be kept in a small yard, eating insect pests and providing free fertilizer for your garden. Think of the extra water you could collect if you put a barrel under the gutter instead of letting it drain into the street. Credit is often used to purchase items people don't need, with money they don't have (creating debt slaves.) Overpopulation increases competition for basic necessities (food, shelter, water.) Why not be responsible and ware a rubber when you ****? In short...we are the ones at fault, nothing has to be the way it is, but by participating, even by just allowing it to happen...we are supporting the flawed system.
